Estee Lauder Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick/Rouge and Lip Swatches + EL Collection

I am having mixed emotions nowadays! ARGGGHHH. I really want to escape and enjoy life, but as always, Life is not all about happiness and enjoying a leisure life (If there is a thing as paradise in infinity, bring me there!). This is the ugly truth! hahahah. You just can't have it all. Sorry, I am just rambling. As I promised, since I still cannot find the pics from my clarisonic, I have to feed you with lip swatchessss. bwahahah. =p

Estee Lauder is one of the brand I am familiar since 10 years old or even younger! Bec. that is what my aunts used to give my mom and my other aunts here in Phil eveytime they visit us. I was lucky to have them because they are the reason why I began to like make-ups and enjoy playing with them. :)

These are all the Estee Lauder Lippies I got. :D ., They are all creamy and it also lasts long in my lips. :) There are some which I find the formula dry, but most of them can be used without wearing a lip balm underneath. I only have 1 PROBLEM WITH IT. ONE PROBLEM. THEY EASILY BREAK/BEND TOWARDS THE metal rim (i don't know exactly how you call it). I think they melt easily that's why they tend to break into half. That's why in the picture they are NOT aligned straight inside the container. Although this can be prevented by using a lip brush or using it very carefully or you just make sure you are not in a humid area. But my dilemma is, I am always outside walking and going on a ride. It is very humid in Manila!!! ., And I do not swipe this lippies very carefully (always on the go dude.), so yeah. That's my Prob.

Sorry for the low quality of the pictures. I do not have an SLR and my camera kinda sucks. But I put all my effort to show justice with their colors. I posted 2-4 pictures of each lipstick shade for you to see the color with and without flash. Since I only use digital camera, it was really really hard for me to show the real shade, thus, tantamount pictures were posted :p

ROSE TEA LIPSTICK

Among the 4 shades from the Estee Lauder Pure Color Long Lasting Line, Rose Tea is my favorite! Well, you can tell how it is massacred in the container because it easily melts and tends to bend/break. It is a very good shade for my lips. My lips just love it everytime I use this! It is matte, and the color is between a baby pink matte and a hot pink shade. IT IS JUST SO GOOD! IMO, this shade is perfect for all skintone.

TIGER EYE

I love the name of this shade- very catchy! However, the shade is so-so for me because it really does not show clearly in my lips, maybe because of my skintone. I tried this color to my friend who is morena, and the shade is fantastic on her! She is glowing because of the shade! :) The shade is shimmery and it is a bronzy/gold color which is really beautiful; it just doesn't suit my lips.

CANDY

This is the least favorite shade among the 4. It is sheer and shimmery, and the color does not suit me. The shade is between the hot pink and a hint of violet. I prefer matte ones. This shade will probably suit with nc/w 15-25 .. someone with light/fair complexion. I also think this will be good for people with pink undertone. me think.

FIG

I do not know why it is called FIG! The name "Fig" reminds me of NYX in Fig which is like a hot pink, am I right? .,I am not sure, but this Fig from Estee Lauder is reddish brown (I THINK?) and it had s sheer+matte formula. It is red shade you can wear everyday! I swear, this is my 2nd favorite:next to Rose Tea. This is also the hardest shade to pull off in camera pics! I swear. I cannot justify the color in the pics for whatever reason. I think this color perfect for all skintone also. I hope you'll believe in me. This one is really good. :) It is not a loud red, and neither it is a Hot red or true red.


Overall, they are great! :) I do not know how much it is here in Philippines, but I am somewhat sure that these shades are available here. When I swiped these babies in my lips, I give them 2-5 minutes for me to see the real color. Once it settled in my lips, the color is diff compared to the shade when instantly swiped.

I was not feeling well emotionally. I think I am having PMS. I am not that sure, but, I everytime my period is coming, I have this rush of emotions., I don't know how to explain it,but I hope you get the idea. I was so busy last week too because of classes, so I hope you understand.

MAKE-UP ORGANIZATION- Vanity Desk

This was supposed to be a review of my Clarisonic Pro. As soon as my motivation to do the review fired up, that was the time pur desktop computer crashed! All the pics were saved since I forgot to put it in my laptop. Sighs.. I'll try to recover the pics this coming week , so I could do my humble-review about it. :) For the mean time let me share my make-up collection and how I organized them in the middle of a calming sunny/cloudy day Last Saturday SINCE I was gonna do it anyway.

 LET ME EMPHASIZE THAT I do not buy make-ups. YES. I do not Or probably, a little. I think I only bought around 10 makeup products (2 eyeshadow palettes, 1 urban decay primer, concealer, powder, 2 bb creams, and black eyeshadow, lip tint) and the NYX lipsticks + CHARM BRUSHES. Other than that, NADAAAH =p ., seeing how I adore make-up and how much fun I get with it, how come I don't buy make-ups often? One reason because I am the only who is really into make-ups. My sisters and my mom do not use make-up at all (just a powder, methinks) on a daily basis. I am the only one who uses eyeshadow(sometimes), eye liner, powder, lippy everyday. So I don't really use a LOT. 2nd reason, I don't have money to spend on make-ups. I have other priorities too, being a practical student. I'd rather spend my money on my loveones,clothes, and skincare. I actually want to buy more make-ups!, but I cannot afford myself to spend all the time. and LASTLY, just because my aunt who lives in USA used to send make-ups all the time! Especially on my 18th birthday last year, 3 of my aunts gave a huge amount of make-ups! Estee L., Clinique, Victoria Secret make-ups. It was so overwhelming. They also gave some to my sisters, and I took it to compile them all. =p ., It was so nice of them, right?

Because of the rain, our roof was freaking leaking! (wow that rhymes!) It was specifically in my room. On top of my vanity desk. Greattttt. So my things were moved in my bed. and I am really a messy girl when it comes to my things, I really need to organize them again.

I do not have a permanent container yet.  But I consider the big toolbox I got when I was 4th year as 1. It was good enough to carry my lip products and mascaras, as well as my foundations, powders, bronzer, primer, make-up removers, bb creams and kabuki brushes. Another container is used for my eyeshadow palettes and blushes. And another one for brushes. :) I actually have 3 containers for the brushes, one for the small brushes, one for the big brushes, and one for the used-and-need-to-be-washed brushes. :D

I will make some lip swatches on my lipsticks nex time. :)  As well as liners, and eyeshadow palettes. :)

FOTD: Everyday Look #1

Today's event was an epic fail. I and B were able to process our good moral letter for our transferee application. I still need to come back though later in the afternoon so I need to wake up very early to get my form. On the other hand, B was able to get his on the same day! Good Job AB Faculty. :D

On our way to Greenhills Shopping Center, this is what I got:

Stranded for 3 hours! I think more than 3 hours. lols

Anyway, this is somewhat my everyday look, I don't know if this has a natural finished look. But sometimes this is what I wear and sometimes I alternate it by using diff eyeliner and diff. lipstick or I add a little eyeshadow on my eyes. With my everyday look, I DON'T USE EYELINER ON MY upper lash line/eye lid. I'm bad at it and it always takes time on my part! :| ., But I prefer lining my lower lash line with an eyeliner + eye shadow to make it last longer. I like my lower lash line to have some color since I have little eye lashes, and they look babies bec. of how little and how few they are. :)) . I didn't put an eyeshadow also since, ............. I woke up around 2pm! I'm already late. :| I thought I will be able to wake up around 10 am but it was a failure. (On the contrary, I slept around 7am! So it's forgivable ... :p ) I have 5 pictures of myself.! sorry, I can't choose 1, I just  like them. :p

FOR THE FACE (products with PINK STAR ON IT)

• Moisturizer: Venus and Mars: Keep Safe Tinted Facial Sunblock SPF 35 =my HG! :)
• Purederm 3 in 1 Beauty Magic BB Cream with SPF 30
• I slightly dust a bareMinerals foundation in Medium Beige with SPF 15 from Bare Escentuals 
• Using a Bare Escentuals kabuki brush, I add christina cosmetics perfect pigment2 (which is also great! thanks to my cousin). It has 4 pigments inside which can be used as foundation, bronzer, highlight, eyeshadow, or blush powder
• Concealer: Ever Bilena Advance Studio Finish Stick Foundation in "Ivory".  (What? O.o All this time, I thought this is a concealer, this is what the saleslady gave me when I asked for a concealer. Anyway, it says here that it can conceal dark circles as well. BUT. I don't care if it's a concealer or foundation. IT WORKS!!!!!!(KEEP IN MIND I ALWAYS SLEEP AROUND 5 am or 6 or 7 am!)
• Highlight used above my cheeks: Victoria's Secret Silk Wear Luminous Powder Eye Colour. I don't know if it's an eyeshadow or whatnot, but you can use any powder as an highlight as long as it works. Right? :)

FOR MY CHEEKS (with green star on it)

• Blush Powder: Clinique Blushing Blush Powder Blush in "Smoldering Plum"

EYES AND EYEBROW (with yellow star)

• Nichido Extra Waterproof, Protective Eye Pencil= my HG also! :D Perfect Brown for me. :) Too bad it is not shown here in my pictures how natural and how great it is on my eyebrow. The flash of my camera is just killing me. I just use this in light strokes. *QUESTION: IS IT BETTER TO USE EYE PENCIL AS IF YOU ARE DRAWING OR LINING YOUR EYEBROW VERY HARD OR YOU JUST LINE IT LIGHTLY? I sometimes see other people with very bold and dark eyebrow because they tend to just draw it. I can't explain it, but you get the drift? Let me know!
• I brushed it with Estee Lauder Two-In-One Eyeshadow Duo. It doesn't show the color names here. I don't want a heavy eyebrow color so I dust it with this eyeshadow, the darker one. After doing so, it makes my eyebrow looks so natural. :) **ANY matte brown eyeshadow would do.
• AVON Ultra Luxury Eye Liner in Black - smudge a lot. but has a nice color.
• On top of my eye liner, I cover it with Ever Bilena Advance Eyeshadow in "Cleo" ==It's A LOUD BLACK. LIKE IT because it's effective and cheap! I think I got this for only 100 pesos? I can't remember. I bought it last August, and I use it everytime I go out! I also use it as an eyeshadow and I still have a lot of it. It doesn't seem like I'm using it. That's how plenty it is.
• Lashes: Estee Lauder Projectionist High Definition Volume Mascara in Black. I'm not fortunate when it comes with eyelashes. They are so short. :| *sigh...

LIPS (violet star on it)

• Lip Balm: Human Nature Lip Balm in Peppermint. Love and like it better than the VNM lip balm. I lost the cap last 2 months ago, and I don't want to buy a new one for the sake of having a new cap. So, I got an extra bottle of alcohol spray and tried to use that cap, and voila! I saved my lip balm! :D
• NYX Round Lipstick in Heredes. My favorite color among the shades I have! I will swatch my 10 Nyx Lipsticks later. :) This is my favorite brand as well. :D Nyx RLS and Nyx Lips for only 160 php each! So affordable!
• Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss in "Slice of Heaven" =Love the smell and the taste! I just don't like the sticky feeling.
