LYCHEES FOR HUNGER AND MOISTURIZERS FOR MY FACE. ^^

It's the season of lychees! And I am addicted with Lychees. I love Lychees. and Avocado. And Mango. And Grapes. AND. Durian. (lmao ^^)

So YES. Lychees are my Favorite for this season. It gives me a refreshing feeling, PLUS the taste is so amazing. I sometimes eat this as my food for dinner or breakfast =p ., Since I usually eat snacks like burger/shake/isaw/etc around 5 to 6pm. Lychees are my midnight food or sometimes, my dinner.

My skin also needs food. Our body, and efkerz, our face! :)
My post will focus more on how I feed my face with yummy-ness before I leave our house. :)

Before I use moisturizer and sunblock. I have my morning routine like washing, toning and all. I'll make a separate post about my morning and night routine. :D

No one is exempted for not using a moisturizer to your face! These are like food in the eyes of our skin. Even those who have oily skin must use moisturizers for they replenish/hydrate and nourish our skin after washing, toning and After all the harsh, polluted air (and other kinds of dirt) we consume/get outside. When it comes to moisturizers, it is hard to find THE ONE for you. As always, TRIAL AND TERROR WILL BE DONE, unless you are so lucky to find  your destined moisturizer in one trial.

I used to be those people who do not care about her face: How she looks, how great/bad her skin, since I always see my face without any pimples. SO why bother, right? But in the end, I sometimes get 1 or 2 bumps in my face probably because I am getting old and my hormones are changing which may cause this dilemma.

warriors ready! >:D

Those products in the picture are my past and current loves. =p
I stopped using some of it because I realized that some of it are not working for me, and not suitable for me.

here is the list of the products shown in the picture from left to right
Venus and Mars Keep Safe Tinted Facial Sunblock SPF 35
Clinique anti-blemish solution (clearing moisturizer)
2 tubes of Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion (I have 2 of this too ^^)
Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief
JASON SUNBRELLAS Facial Natural Sunblock SPF 20
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer waterlight lotion (sunblock)
Juice Beauty Oil-Free Moisturizer
Venus and Mars Emu Oil
(I also used Clean and Clear oil-free moisturizer before.my first moisturizer that I used when I was in High School. :D )

So what's my favorite moisturizer among these? Definitely the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing GEL. -this is so light and it glides smoothly! It is suitable for my oily skin. This product is easily absorbed by my skin the moment I cover my face with it. This is what I use in the morning/afternoon. I bought this one (the smallest tube) in Rustan's Makati when I joined Projectvanity's CLinique Party. It costs 1500 php together with the toner and facial wash. It is expensive. That's why I asked my aunt to buy a set also in USA (travel set also since I am still trying the products if it work) with a cheaper price. If you buy this in Clinique USA. You will really get more product with your money. I don't use this in the evening for 1 main reason: I DON'T WANT TO CONSUME TOO MUCH OF THIS! I might end up running out fast! :))) I can't afford to buy this all the time. hihihi. That's why I use the Clinique Dramatically Different Lotion. This one is suitable for dry skin. I am using this in the evening so that my DDMG will last longer and because sleeping in a fully air-conditioned room can dry your skin. Having a thicker moisturizer is not so bad after all to keep it moisturized against it. :D

As for the others. I used the MOISTURE SURGE EXTENDED THIRST RELIEF for my undereyes. AND YES! I AM SAVING IT SO MUCH UNTIL MY AUNT CAN GIVE ME ONE. hihihi. I got this as a freebie in Clinique Makati (Projectvanity's clinique party2). Miss Liz told me that she really really likes this moisturizer even in her undereyes because IT IS THAT GOOD. So I decided to use it in that area only. AND I AGREE WITH HER.

Clinique Anti Blemish solution moisturizer is for those poeple having a horrible nightmare with their blemishes. This is not for those who have 1 or 2 blemishes ha. If you use this all over your face, you must be given a permission by the Clinique SA first because as far as I know, this is too strong. This is also a freebie I got and the SA informed to dab it on the blemish itself and not all over my face. At first, I said to myself, "It's Working!", but for unknown reason, I think my skin got immuned to it. So I just use this if I have no options na. (I am not having breakouts na btw! And if I do, I also have my TBS tea tree oil ^^)

My Emu oil is good as a moisturizer at night. FYI-This is OIL so for those with oily skin, don't dare use this in the afternoon! I stopped using this because I like my Clinique na. AND. This is also good for scars and scratches/gasgas. So I think I well end up using this as a scar remover just in case it really works and true with their claims (that's how I use it. for light scars. NOT SURE IF IT WORKS) SO That this will not go into WASTE. I think this costs less than 500. Or a little over 500 php. Just check their site! =p (http://venusandmars08@multiply.com)

The Juice Beauty Oil-Free moisturizer is expensive too. This costs 1500-1800 php in Beauty Bar. This is one of their bestsellers according to their SA because it is organic. But, I do not like it, nor hate it. It is good, but there is something that bothered me when using this. There's a heat + tingling sensation everytime I use it. It has a long expiration , so I have it as back-up lang. JUST IN CASE. =p

The Venus and Mars Keep Safe Tinted Sunblock is good for those with dry skin. It is a tinted moisturizer PLUS SPF. SO YEAH. THAT'S GOOD. But I found out that this is the culrpit why I always blot twice or thrice a day. This is too oily for me. IMO.

For my sunscreens, I just recently bought these two. JASON SUNBRELLAS NATURAL SUNBLOCK SPF20 FROM Healthy Option. YEAH. from that place. I am not aware of that. And It is surprisingly CHEAP! around 450.00 php(10$) for 4.5oz (120 ml?). Compared to Neutrogena ultra sheer waterlight lotion SPF 50 which cost 460++ php for 30ml. The Jason sunblock is oil-free, hypoallergenic, parabeen free and non-comodogenic. It has UVA/UVB Protection but not stated how high it is.. This is what I use on a daily basis. It looks thick when dispensed, BUT it gets thinner and thinner when applied in my skin. I really really love it. As for my Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunblock, I am still experimenting on it. It has a watery substance and the SPF is high and their PA protection is also high (PA+++). I use this IF I know that I will be having outdoor activities or if I will be most of the time, under the sun. THE 2 PRODUCTS DID NOT BREAK ME OUT, Just to inform you. :D

I ALSO TRIED THE DERMALOGICA SUPER RICH SUNBLOCK SPF 30. This is what I used last summer. I was given 8 samples of it. It is very very thick. I liked it at first, but ended up not liking it because I think this makes me oilier. SO I RECOMMEND THIS for those with dry skin. :)

SO. THAT's IT GUYS! If you have any questions. Leave me a comment. ^^

PS: IF YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE IF YOUR MOISTURIZER SUITS YOU. Get a BLOTTING PAPER (oil control film like clean and clear) and pour a small amount of the product and check how the blotting paper absorbs the oil. Got this from someone's blog post. :) will show you an example next time. :D

PRODUCTS I AM LOVING FOR MY FACE. :)

hearts all over in spite of being stranded at my bf's cousin's condo. hahaha. whut?
just lol-ing around. :)
But I was stranded awhile ago. I was in MOA waiting for B to finish his hockey training. Being the supportive gf, I always go there since DLSU is minutes away from MOA. :) ., Bringin a bottle of gatorade all the time. TIPID REMINDER: If you want to buy a 1L of gatorade, instead of buying one in supermarket which costs 60-70 php, go to 7/11 and bring you empty 1 liter bottle and use that instead of their 32oz GULP DRINKS. :D THEY SERVE BLUE BOLT GATORADE! :D!!! It only costs 32.00 PHP!!! 1 liter for 32 pesos. NOT BAD! HAHA. They will gladly allow you because you are also helping them by not using their cup as I was told by the lady that their cups are expensive. Just ask them. Try it. :D

anyway. I am here just to update you and let myself be inspired with writings! HAHA. I want to do an everyday post, but I really find it so stressful because of too much details. Yes, I am that lazy, and it kinda makes me sad. =p ., But I will still try my best. Hihi.

My skin is getting weird nowadays. The Clinique 3 step system just stopped working on me and I don't know why! :( ., I have another set of these, and I am planning to sell it) , It has been a month and a half, and I was frustrated, not knowing what to do. When 1 product works on me, it's either my right cheek will clear up and my left cheek will be the one to form bumps, and vice versa. Has anyone of you experienced that?

My default soap is Cetaphil bar after trying a product which did not work for me in the end. This product is not that good, but it kinda calms the condition. So for me, that's sort of a plus for me. But after a few days, Wednesday to be exact. When I started to use Cyleina Black Pearl Soap by accident (I just grabbed it at the dep't store with a little hope that it will make a difference), and I SWEAR TO GOD, it cleared up my skin!) ., My right and left cheeks are now working together! SOOO HAPPPYYY!! :) I am also using it for my body to whiten my skin as my skin tends to recover very slowly everytime I get tanned/sunburned from diff activities. My skin looks like  snow white's skin (NC20 or whiter than that) when I was a kid and now, uhhhh nevermind . =p I am NC30 now.

One thing that I am GETTING CRRAAZZYYY ABOUT IS... LOL

BB CREAMMSSS!! SORRY, OLD SCHOOL! >:)) Late bloomer.

Source: Google

I was not fascinated with BB creams before (Oct 2010) because I didn't like the Purederm BB cream, so I thought everything else will work just like that. But, after accidentally reading, and watching it this month, I got hooked! For 1 whole week, all I did was to look for the right product for me! :)) ., SO right now, I am using the BRTC 5sample sachets from http://wehaveit43.multiply.com and I am loving the Perfect Recover BB cream among the rest of the samples. Although I find it not that great in oil-control. I like it because of the coverage it gives and how even my skin is after using this. It also kinda matches my skin color! Hurraayyyyy! (I have read that this is too light for most NC30). My cousin also gave me a Collagen BB Cream By WATSONS in China. Yes! Watsons has one, but in China. I am not sure it it is good because it's a little mismatch with my skin color cause of the graying tone it has. Might as well try it again or else, will be put in blogsale.

I am now trying to buy more BB creams. Right now, I am planning to buy a full bottle of Skin Food Aloe Vera BB cream, BRTC perfect recover BB cream, Etude House (not yet sure which one), and I am also choosing between skin79 or Missha.

Tomorrow, I am going to review my Clarisonic Pro Brush.! :D Stay tune :)

LASTLY, Because of the huge sale in THE BODY SHOP 2 weeks ago, I bought :)

Bodyshop.co.uk

from Bodyshop.co.uk

I do not like the lip tint! X( ., I am really not a fan of lip tints!! I prefer NYX lipsticks than this! I will sell this one. The Tea tree oil, I actually got this awhile ago since I heard that this is really THAT GOOD. I was convinced and bought 2pcs because of the sale. =p ., I still have 1 huge zit on my lower left jawline because of the make-up I used last Saturday. It was too big for Cyleina soap to clear right away. Although the soap did well (slowly doing its job), I want to try this tea tree oil just in case few bumps will be formed in the future. I hope this works! Has anyone tried their Tea tree line? I want to try their facial foam/wash and their moisturizer!! I have read that it is good in keeping the oil at bay. Let me know :)

Clinique Presents: The Doctor Is In! = Trinoma

From 2pm until 2am (I just got home), I was outside doing some fun stuffs! :D .. haha., I am saying this as my valid excuse for not posting my 2nd blog regarding my cagayan vacation awhile ago. tteeeehhhee! :p .. Anyway, I am much happier as I will be (I think?,.) busy tomorrow, doing some stuffs. AGAIN. :)) .. But most of all, because I will be visiting the Clinique Consultation in Trinoma tomorrow! This will be a great great chance for those residing near Trinoma, who are very curious and eager to try their products as there will be skin consultation to let them know the answers to their concerns, and who knows, you might be able to get a free sample to test its effectiveness! I had the chance to try their Clinique products because of Ms. Liz's Clinique Party2 (my blog entry for this is still in my drafts! lols.) and I also bought a mini travel kit that time to test it further! It has been like 3 weeks, and I am loving the result! .. My left cheek is better than before while my right cheek is starting to clear up. You may think that a span of 3 weeks is too long to see the result,  but there can be some factors why it occurred to me. I have been in Cagayan de Oro for 1 week and I am always under the sun, every single day, especially with the 3hours of rafting . This means that I always  lather huge amount of sunblock to protect my face, plus too much perspiration and the sticky-eecky feeling; these hindered me from using Clinique products religiously. But, I am still happy with the result! Hope you could try it for yourself. You have nothing to lose anyway! . For more info, just check the poster below. :D

SEE YOU THERE!! :D

FOTD: Everyday Look #1

Today's event was an epic fail. I and B were able to process our good moral letter for our transferee application. I still need to come back though later in the afternoon so I need to wake up very early to get my form. On the other hand, B was able to get his on the same day! Good Job AB Faculty. :D

On our way to Greenhills Shopping Center, this is what I got:
Stranded for 3 hours! I think more than 3 hours. lols

Anyway, this is somewhat my everyday look, I don't know if this has a natural finished look. But sometimes this is what I wear and sometimes I alternate it by using diff eyeliner and diff. lipstick or I add a little eyeshadow on my eyes. With my everyday look, I DON'T USE EYELINER ON MY upper lash line/eye lid. I'm bad at it and it always takes time on my part! :| ., But I prefer lining my lower lash line with an eyeliner + eye shadow to make it last longer. I like my lower lash line to have some color since I have little eye lashes, and they look babies bec. of how little and how few they are. :)) . I didn't put an eyeshadow also since, ............. I woke up around 2pm! I'm already late. :| I thought I will be able to wake up around 10 am but it was a failure. (On the contrary, I slept around 7am! So it's forgivable ... :p ) I have 5 pictures of myself.! sorry, I can't choose 1, I just  like them. :p
PLEASE VIEW THE PICTURES AT A LARGER SIZE. The colors are shown better when it is viewed larger.

moi. n_n

^^, .. Having a hard time to have a perfect shot where the colors are showed perfectly.

Oily Face!! :| i guess this is the best shot I have to show the colors of the make-up except with the eyebrow. =p

When Lip gloss is added:
Like It!

Products I used:
Click the picture for larger view

FOR THE FACE (products with PINK STAR ON IT)
  • Moisturizer: Venus and Mars: Keep Safe Tinted Facial Sunblock SPF 35 =my HG! :)
  • Purederm 3 in 1 Beauty Magic BB Cream with SPF 30
  • I slightly dust a bareMinerals foundation in Medium Beige with SPF 15 from Bare Escentuals
  • Using a Bare Escentuals kabuki brush, I add christina cosmetics perfect pigment2 (which is also great! thanks to my cousin). It has 4 pigments inside which can be used as foundation, bronzer, highlight, eyeshadow, or blush powder
  • Concealer: Ever Bilena Advance Studio Finish Stick Foundation in "Ivory".  (What? O.o All this time, I thought this is a concealer, this is what the saleslady gave me when I asked for a concealer. Anyway, it says here that it can conceal dark circles as well. BUT. I don't care if it's a concealer or foundation. IT WORKS!!!!!!(KEEP IN MIND I ALWAYS SLEEP AROUND 5 am or 6 or 7 am!)
  • Highlight used above my cheeks: Victoria's Secret Silk Wear Luminous Powder Eye Colour. I don't know if it's an eyeshadow or whatnot, but you can use any powder as an highlight as long as it works. Right? :)
FOR MY CHEEKS (with green star on it)
  • Blush Powder: Clinique Blushing Blush Powder Blush in "Smoldering Plum"
EYES AND EYEBROW (with yellow star)
  • Nichido Extra Waterproof, Protective Eye Pencil= my HG also! :D Perfect Brown for me. :) Too bad it is not shown here in my pictures how natural and how great it is on my eyebrow. The flash of my camera is just killing me. I just use this in light strokes. *QUESTION: IS IT BETTER TO USE EYE PENCIL AS IF YOU ARE DRAWING OR LINING YOUR EYEBROW VERY HARD OR YOU JUST LINE IT LIGHTLY? I sometimes see other people with very bold and dark eyebrow because they tend to just draw it. I can't explain it, but you get the drift? Let me know!
  • I brushed it with Estee Lauder Two-In-One Eyeshadow Duo. It doesn't show the color names here. I don't want a heavy eyebrow color so I dust it with this eyeshadow, the darker one. After doing so, it makes my eyebrow looks so natural. :) **ANY matte brown eyeshadow would do.
  • AVON Ultra Luxury Eye Liner in Black - smudge a lot. but has a nice color.
  • On top of my eye liner, I cover it with Ever Bilena Advance Eyeshadow in "Cleo" ==It's A LOUD BLACK. LIKE IT because it's effective and cheap! I think I got this for only 100 pesos? I can't remember. I bought it last August, and I use it everytime I go out! I also use it as an eyeshadow and I still have a lot of it. It doesn't seem like I'm using it. That's how plenty it is.
  • Lashes: Estee Lauder Projectionist High Definition Volume Mascara in Black. I'm not fortunate when it comes with eyelashes. They are so short. :| *sigh...

LIPS (violet star on it)
  • Lip Balm: Human Nature Lip Balm in Peppermint. Love and like it better than the VNM lip balm. I lost the cap last 2 months ago, and I don't want to buy a new one for the sake of having a new cap. So, I got an extra bottle of alcohol spray and tried to use that cap, and voila! I saved my lip balm! :D
  • NYX Round Lipstick in Heredes. My favorite color among the shades I have! I will swatch my 10 Nyx Lipsticks later. :) This is my favorite brand as well. :D Nyx RLS and Nyx Lips for only 160 php each! So affordable!
  • Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss in "Slice of Heaven" =Love the smell and the taste! I just don't like the sticky feeling.
BTW, I'M WEARING GEO CONTACT LENS "ANGEL SERIES IN GREY" DON'T THEY LOOK AMAZING? :D I HAVE 4 PAIRS OF CONTACT LENS BECAUSE I'M ACTUALLY SELLING THEM AT MY ONLINE SHOP! For 650 php, you'll get 1pair of lens + lens case + grade installation if needed + 35 ml solution + manual + free shipping! THIS IS FOR PRE-ORDER BY THE WAY. ORDERS AND PAYMENTS ARE UNTIL NOV. 26, 2010 AND YOU'LL GET THEM ON DEC. 14! JUST CLICK ON THE ICON AT THE SIDE BAR. :D So sorry for having a long info about this! >:)))) .. I promise this will be the last time. I'll just have these lenses on a separate posts. :D

**I forgot to insert at the bottom my last 2 pictures, will add it later. :)
**Is it okay to contour nose on an everyday basis? I want to try it, but I think I'm overdoing the look already. As you can see, I have a flat nose. :)) Help me ppplleeaaseee. :p
**Show me your everyday look! Leave a link on the comments section. :)

xoxo,
Christine
